CATHERINE BURNS
NUTRITIONAL THERAPIST & AVP NUTRITION, WELLNESS & COMMUNITY HEALTH

Catherine is a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist (BA Hons, Dip ION, mBNTA) with 20 years clinical experience and a respected leader in her field. She became interested in nutrition after working in Uganda aged 18, getting extremely sick and then recovering with the help of a nutritionist when all else seemed lost! After graduating from Durham University in the UK, she then went on to train for four years with the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London. Once in Bermuda she founded the popular Nutrifit program, Natural Nutrition consultancy and the Beat the Couch running program, winning Best of Bermuda awards for Best Healthcare Practitioner and Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2019, she brought her work under the umbrella of The Waterfront and helped establish Waterfront Wellness. She now leads our team, heads up the clinic, provides the know-how behind our Nutrifit line and works with our group of companies to promote wellness on-site and within our community. Catherine has a science-based yet holistic and fun-loving approach to healthy living, working with expertise, authenticity and empathy. She uses proven preventive health care protocols to help her clients reach their goals, often working alongside their doctors to achieve desired results. Originally from the UK, Catherine is now Bermudian. She's engaged to a wonderful Irishman, has two daughters aged 16 and 14, and recently welcomed a newborn son. She has written a weekly nutrition column for the Royal Gazette since 2005. She is the current President of the Bermuda Nutritional Therapy Association. When she’s not at work, Catherine will be with her family, running along the beach, cooking, reading, writing or relaxing on a boat.

With more than 15 years fitness experience under his belt, Graham joined the Waterfront Wellness team in January 2018. He’s the ultimate in easy-going - the yin to the excitable yang from the rest of the gang! Relaxed in nature, he also has an enviable drive, motivating his clients with his enthusiasm and commitment to their cause. Growing up in Bermuda, Graham was always active in community sports. He went on to study at the University of Tampa, graduating with a Bachelors of Science, majoring in Exercise & Sports Studies. During this time he also acquired his NASM Personal Training Certification. Combining his love for food with his passion for creating a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for his clients Graham studied and obtained his Precision Nutrition Certification to further is holistic approach to his clients. Whether you interact with Graham one-on-one or come to his classes, you’ll clearly see he takes pride in his work. When he’s not at the gym, you’ll find him on the golf course, playing softball or just having friendly banter with his clients. Fun facts: he spent 3 years with the Bermuda regiment and is an amazing father to his two young daughters!

Christina is a valued member of the Waterfront Wellness team, where she brings a wealth of experience and a passion for expanding our class offerings, including kickboxing. She also teaches strength and spin classes, so you’ll see her regularly on the schedule! Bermudian by birth, Christina has been a fixture in the Health & Fitness industry since 2006 and is well known to many here in Bermuda. Having previously run her own studio, she brings a depth of expertise to our team. While her bubbly personality lights up the room, don’t be fooled – Christina is incredibly strong, both mentally and physically. She has completed three self-supported ultra-marathons, earning impressive finishes: 3rd place in the 2009 Sahara Race Egypt (250km), 14th place in the 2012 Jordan Wadi Rum Ultra (250km), and 13th place in the 2012 Grand to Grand Ultra (175 miles). Outside of the gym, Christina enjoys a quieter lifestyle—after all, it takes some peace and quiet after that kind of endurance!

With vast experience at world-renowned luxury hotels and resorts, she has mastered the art of anticipating client needs, optimizing operations, and delivering personalized services. Her accolades, including the Above & Beyond Award and Employee of the Year, highlight her commitment to exceeding expectations and fostering strong relationships. Ayana ensures a seamless experience for gym members while driving operational efficiency. Her ability to create welcoming environments and prioritise member satisfaction makes her an invaluable asset to the team at Waterfront Wellness. When Ayana isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, and is the most devoted mom we know!
ORONDÉ CAMARA

Oronde has over 15 years of experience training, mentoring and teaching within various health and fitness environments. Qualified with the American Athletic Association & International Sports Medicine Association, as well as the American Council on Exercise and CanFit Pro, he’s also C.H.E.K accredited and certified to teach Tennis, Marshall Arts and Self Defense. (He’s been busy!) Whether you’re new to training or a recreational athlete looking to take your fitness up a level, Oronde will certainly challenge you to reach your maximum potential. However, he’s compassionate, motivating and understands limitations, disabilities, obesity and other health-related restrictions that often present a barrier to comfort in a fitness environment. So, regardless of your age or health status, he will get you on the right track! Oronde has spent a lot of time living and working in Canada but is now back in his home country. When he’s not training clients, he is often studying or preparing for clients – but when he’s finally off work he loves to sail and practice martial arts. He also teaches Portuguese!
ANDREA SANTUCCI

Andrea has been a yoga student since the time she first stepped on to the mat in 2007. From that moment on yoga became a way of life, not just an activity. She came to yoga as many do on a casual whim but found herself on a journey of self-exploration and awareness. She was so grateful for the healing and peace that yoga brought into her life (at a time that she needed it the most), that she decided to embark upon a teacher training course and share the benefits with others. In 2010 she qualified in Yoga Teacher Training with a 225hr Certification. She gained practical teaching experience and also received in-depth training on mechanical and physiological workings of the human body, class planning, ethics and yoga philosophy. Since qualifying, she has continued her education with many workshops and courses (such as Yoga for Healing Trauma.) Andrea’s aim is to inspire students through the practice of yoga to connect with their inner peace, whilst attaining their deepest and truest potential in all aspects of their physical, emotional, spiritual and practical life. She brings a compassionate, inclusive and non-judgmental coaching style into her classes, with an intuitive ability to tailor yoga and meditation sessions according to student ability and experience.

Toriano is a certified Elite Trainer by ISSA, specializing in Personal Training, Corrective Exercise, Strength & Conditioning, and Nutrition. As a trainer working at Waterfront Wellness Bermuda, Toriano is dedicated to helping clients achieve their fitness and wellness goals through personalized training programs, group spin classes, and group fitness classes.
A passionate athlete, Toriano plays both 7s and 15s rugby as a second row (lock). This experience in competitive sports allows him to design fitness programs that enhance performance and prevent injuries.
In addition to his fitness expertise, Toriano has a professional and educational background in digital marketing and data analytics. This unique combination enables him to utilize modern strategies for client engagement and progress tracking, ensuring each client receives a tailored and effective training plan.
When not training clients or playing rugby, Toriano enjoys playing the bass guitar and drums.

With over 20 years of Spin Class coaching experience, Gladwin Edness combines expertise, passion, and an unmatched ability to inspire. As an avid member of the local cycling team, Team Bicycle Works, he brings the energy and intensity of road cycling into the studio, creating exhilarating sessions driven by motivational direction, high-energy music, and challenging high-intensity intervals.
Gladwin is a certified Spinning Instructor Level 3 (2012) and holds multiple Les Mills certifications, including Grit (2016), Sprint (2017), and Body Pump (2019), with confirmation pending for The Trip (2024). His commitment to professional growth includes attending Spinning and Les Mills conferences every two years and completing ongoing online training to stay at the forefront of fitness trends.
A recipient of a kidney transplant, Gladwin has a personal connection to the importance of health, wellness, and goal setting. His journey through adversity fuels his dedication to helping others push their limits and achieve their fitness goals. Dance Cardio is more than a dance fitness class. It is an experience! As a wife, mom and business professional, Reneeknows first-hand how hard it is to weave fitness into a daily schedule. But Renee also knows that movement and fitness is critical to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Renee’s Dance Cardio class offers a safe space to dance like no one is watching, sweat and have FUN. No dance experience? No PROBLEM! Appropriate for all age groups and all fitness ability levels. Participants groove to all genres of music and choreography is easy to follow.
Renee started ballet in her childhood. Throughout her teens her formal training expanded in Tap, Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop locally and in the US, Canada a UK. Renee was a principal dancer with local dance companies: National Dance Theatre and Civic Ballet and has received several scholarships and internships to attend dance intensive programmes like Alvin Ailey, Boston Ballet, Boston Conservatory, Royal Academy of Dance in London, Houston Ballet and Atlanta Hawks Dancers, to name a few. After her undergraduate degree, Renee taught part time at local dance schools Somerset School of Dance and United Dance Productions.
After becoming a certified Les Mills Sh’Bam instructor in 2015 Renee’s passion as a group fitness instructor continued to grow. She is currently a certified Les Mills Instructor in Les Mills Body Combat and Pump.
Renee philosophy is, “progress, not perfection” and her only requirement for her participants is to ”HAVE FUN”.
TWILTON HARDTMAN

Twilton has been a certified BodyPump instructor since April 2019, bringing his lifelong passion for fitness and sports to every class. With a rich athletic background that includes football, cricket, karate, weight training, yoga, and running, Twilton knows what it takes to stay fit and energized. He even played for the National Football Team at the youth level and holds a brown belt with two black stripes in karate.
BodyPump quickly became a favorite for Twilton after he tried it at a friend’s invitation. He loved the total body workout combined with a heart-pumping cardio boost—getting results without spending hours at the gym. When the chance to become certified came along, he jumped at it and hasn’t looked back since.
Twilton’s fitness journey includes running the May 24th race eight times and participating in countless local road races. Now, as he approaches 60, BodyPump keeps him toned, strong, and feeling fit. Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, Twilton’s classes are high-energy, sweat-inducing, and designed to help you crush your goals.

With a twinkle in her eye and a pirouette in her step, Jenna’s more than just a Barre instructor. She’s also a Behavioural Nutritionist with an MSc in Nutrition and Behaviour who’s passionate about helping people find balance between their bodies and minds, the busyness of life, and the calm that is found at the barre. A classically trained dancer with over 20 years of experience, including training with The Royal Ballet and British Ballet Organization in London, Jenna brings a unique flair to her Barre classes. Her calm and encouraging nature will have you feeling like a pro in no time. Be sure to meet her at the barre!
Originally from South Africa, Jenna now calls Bermuda home. A lover of the ocean, Jenna is happiest when she's surrounded by friends, family, and turquoise waters. After all, there's nothing quite like combining a healthy lifestyle with a little island paradise!
JEN SOARES

Movement has always been an important part of Jennifer’s life – a source of expression, creativity, freedom and breath. It started in a dance studio, where she would eventually end up teaching dance for over 30 years. Continued exploration of movement led her to discover a love of both Zumba and yoga.
After taking yoga classes on and off for many years, she eventually settled into a more regular practice and completed the 200 hour YTT in June 2023, as a natural evolution to her yoga journey. When you join her on the mat expect a Vinyassa style yoga class where poses flow seamlessly together through the connection with breath. Expect creative transitions and sequencing which connects mind and body.
And on the other end of the energy and movement spectrum, she discovered Zumba as a fun way to exercise and incorporate her love of dance. Completing the Zumba instructor training in June 2011, she has been teaching Zumba classes for over 13 years. These classes combine low and high intensity moves to Latin and world inspired music. She has also completed training in Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Sentao and Zumba Kids.
HAYLEY BENNETT

Hayley is the owner of Hayley Bennett Wellbeing and the founder of Live Better – Feel Better – Work Better. She is an Author, Reflexologist and Shift - Creation Coach and has been working with clients since 2002 and has been practicing what she teaches personally since 1993. At the age of 19 Hayley had a major car accident and was told she’d never work again, she spent years fighting it, feeling a little bit better and pushing herself, to only crash. But over the years she learnt how to get the balance right, how food and alcohol affected her energy and headaches. How regular exercise helped her mentally and physically and how changing her mindset and little things in her life could make a huge difference.
Hayley is originally from the UK but spent most of her adult life living and building her business around the world, after living in Cyprus she moved to Bermuda with her son for 12 years. Hayley now lives in Bulgaria; working with her clients online and comes back to Bermuda 3 times a year to work with Waterfront Wellness members and employees, providing reflexology, meditation classes, workshops and seminars.
When Hayley isn’t at work or writing her next book she is walking the dogs, cycling, gardening, cooking, reading and enjoying every day.

HOLISTIC PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Dileri is a Holistic Physical Therapist specializing in restoring body-mind balance for inner healing. Her unique approach includes conscious movement (clinical Pilates and Gentle Yoga) focused on alignment, body touch, breathwork, tantra and astral energy healing, active and passive meditation to calm the mind. She believes in the integrated connection of mind, body, and soul, releasing what does not serve us anymore. Dileri's system focuses on releasing, relaxing, rejuvenating, rebalancing, and recharging the body. With 10 years of experience and a background in multiple disciplines and oriental medicine, she intuitively guided individuals and workshops while living in Asia, Europe, and now in Bermuda.
JESSICA HOLLIS

Jess has worked here at The Waterfront since 2014, sky-rocketing from Administrative Assistant and then Events Coordinator, to the Director of Marketing. Holding a BSc in Psychology from the University of Richmond, Jess is insightful and uniquely perceptive. She’s the very definition of “can-do” and works diligently and patiently to make all our social media and marketing happen (she does a lot of other things too - she really is a not-so-secret weapon.) Jess has been with Waterfront Wellness since it’s inception, helping to create the brand, define our market, improve communication and understand our customer. She’s a respected “sounding board” for all the ideas that float around the office! Jess does much of our design-work in-house, as well as managing our relationships with external marketing partners, advising on strategy and driving continued innovation for our engagement standards.
When she’s not here, Jess is often working on her photography skills or busy being ruthless on the hockey pitch. She has represented Bermuda seven times and played division 1 hockey in the US. Jess currently plays in the Bermuda women’s and mixed leagues. Watch out!

Madeline brings a wealth of expertise and is the dynamic driving force behind our popular and successful events. Her career has blossomed since her first job working behind the scenes in a kitchen at the age of 16, where she fell in love with the food industry. Madeline’s foundations were built around understanding the fundamentals of food and the importance of creative menu design. With her mind instinctively centred around health and wellness, she’s a natural fit for our team. But food to her is about more than providing fuel for the body; it’s fundamental in bringing people together. Her ability to understand her clients vision enables her to create and host truly memorable events (making her and Grant a fantastic duo!) When she’s not in the office, or zipping around to our exclusive island event venues, Madeline balances her downtime between yoga classes and wine tastings.
